Jordan Kerfeld is an award-winning filmmaker, writer, and artist from Kansas City, MO. His films have appeared in film festivals and curated screenings worldwide and on PBS. He recently graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he received 7 Missouri media awards for his journalism and short films. He will be joining the graduate Film program at UT-Austin in the fall in pursuit of his Masters.
He recently completed two films: “Momentum & Marr,” which airs frequently on his local PBS affiliate and was featured in SPIN magazine’s online multi-media component. “Fingers” has screened at 7 film festivals and is being distributed worldwide in a short film DVD collection by Paste Magazine. He is currently writing his next movie, expecting to enter production in 2010.
He currently works as a freelance video editor and producer, and has worked on projects for the National Football League, H&R Block, and the U.S. Army.
