Jordan Kerfeld is an award-winning filmmaker, writer, and artist from Kansas City, MO. His films have appeared in film festivals and curated screenings worldwide and on local PBS. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he received 7 Missouri media awards for his journalism and short films. He is currently pursuing an MFA in Film Production from the University of Texas at Austin.
He recently completed two films: “Momentum & Marr,” which airs frequently on the local Kansas City PBS affiliate and was featured in SPIN magazine’s online multi-media component. “Fingers” has screened at 7 film festivals and is being distributed worldwide in a short film DVD collection by Paste Magazine. He is currently writing his next movie, expecting to enter production in 2010.
